Bio

Born in Minneapolis, Breckin Meyer started appearing on commercials after being introduced to an agent by his friend Drew Barrymore. He was also in a game show, Child's Play (1982). Meyer aspired to be an actor and eventually dropped out of college to develop the skills. He acted in television shows like The Jackie Thomas Show (1992-1993), Franklin & Bash (2011-2014), and last appeared on an episode of Good Girls (2021). Making a film debut in Camp Cucamonga (1990), Meyer went on to land roles in Clueless (1995), Road Trip (2000), Rat Race (2001), and delivered a remarkable performance in Garfield: The Movie (2004) as Jon Arbuckle. Eventually, Breckin joined the Streetwalkin Cheetahs as a drummer along with his brother, Frank. He was the lead vocalist on 'Carnival' and 'Dave' when the band released their demo album in 1995. Breckin also wrote songs for the successive albums of the bands, titled Overdrive and Live on KXLU.
