Born in 1944, Sir Robert David Hillyer Scott DL, popularly known as Bob Scott is a businessman based in South London. Bob is recognized for his participation in the International Olympic Committee. Bob Scott was the Manchester Olympic Bid Committee’s Chairman and in 1994, he was knighted in the New Year Honours. In 1968, Scott was the 69 Theatre Company’s Administrator and he then went on to become Royal Exchange Theatre Trust’s Administrator. Bob was behind the revival of Opera House and the Palace, while he was Manchester Theatres Limited’s Managing Director. Being the Trinity Laban’s Chairman from 2005 to 2012, Scott was also the Chairman of South London Business and Greenwich Theatre. Bob then became Liverpool Culture Company’s International Ambassador and he was also the Granada Foundation’s Chairman in Manchester. Scott is also the founder of Cornerhouse Manchester.
