Alondra de la Parra is a conductor and Cultural Ambassador for Tourism born in New York, the United States on October 31, 1980. Her professional career began when she studied composition at the Centro de Investigación y Estudios Musicales (CIEM) of Mexico, representative ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music) of the United Kingdom Music Education Agency.Parra has had important experiences in her career. She founded the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas in 2004. In 2005 she made her debut as a guest conductor of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra. She also had the opportunity to conduct in 2016 the Orquesta Nacional de Île-de-France. In 2017 she conducted the Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the St. Francis Symphony Orchestra, La Tonhalle Orchester in Zurich. She has also released albums such as Mi alma Mexicana and Travieso Carmesí.
