Aisling Loftus is an English actress who is popularly known for her performance as Agnes Towler in the series, ‘Mr. Selfridge’. Loftus made her debut with an episode in Peak Practice (2000). Aisling can also be seen in the BBC historical drama War and Peace along with other series such as Casualty, Bobby Ball, Timothy Spall, and the drama, The Fattest Man in Britain. In 2008, the screen International magazine described her as a Star of Tomorrow. You can spot Loftus in the movie, ‘Jade’ by Daniel Elliott which fetched her a Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2009. Her role in Spur of the Moment received great reviews from the audience. In 2011, she was seen in the BBC’s The Borrowers as Arrietty. The Daily Telegraph called her ‘superb’ while The Observer predicted her to be a ‘phenomenon’ for her performances. She played the lead in another BBC drama called Dive that included Jack O'Connell, Gina McKee, and Ewen Bremner.
