A renowned American actor John Stephan Goodman was born on June 20, 1952, in the U.S. He is best known for his performance in the TV series Roseanne (1988-1997) which brought him a Golden Globe Actor for Best Actor in 1993 along with seven Emmy Award nominations. He has appeared in the sequel The Conners as well. His other successful appearances are in Raising Arizona (1987) as an escaped convict, Barton Fink (1991) as a murderer, and in The Big Lebowski (1998) as a bowler. He lent his voice to the character Sulley in Disney film Monsters (2001), which has been appreciated very much. John has starred opposite George Clooney in O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000).
