Olympia Dukakis is a popular actress, producer, director, and model born on June 20, 1931, in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA. She has appeared in more than 60 films and 50 TV shows. Olympia graduated from Boston University with a physical therapy degree. During the Polio pandemic, she had served actively as a physical therapist. When Olympia was 30, she appeared in The Aspern Papers. She premiered a one-woman play titled Rose at the National Theatre, London, and won the Circle Award and a Drama Desk Award nomination. She also appeared in Abraham Cochrane (1964) and Whos who in Hell. Olympia, along with her husband Louis Zorich, co-founded The Whole Theatre Company. Their first production was Our Town in 1973.
