Actress Sami Gayle was born on January 22, 1996, in Weston, Florida, USA. She is best known for her role as Nicky Reagan-Boyle in Blue Bloods. Sami first started acting in the off-Broadway production Gypsy as Baby June. The show also featured Patti LuPone. When the production came to Broadway, she made a comeback. Some other off-Broadway plays in which Gayle showed her acting prowess include MCC Theatre's Family Week, directed by Academy-Award winner Jonathan Demme and Oohrah! at the Atlantic Theatre Company. She also appeared in the Broadway production Dr Seuss: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Musical (2007). Gayle made her film debut in 2012 in DETACHMENT, where she played a young prostitute opposite Adrien Brody. The film was directed by Tony Kaye.
