Actress Caroline Von Paulus, also known as Bambou (stage name), was born in France on March 1, 1959. She rose to fame around 1979 when she appeared in several films and TV series such as Enfant Secret, La Fin de la Nuit, L'Homme Sandwich, and 74 km Avec Elle, to name a few. After receiving immense recognition in the film industry, Bambou decided to pursue her career in the music industry. She also experimented quite a lot in the fashion industry around the 1980s. She is best known for her performances in renowned films, including Courts Mais Gay: Tome 4 (2002), The Intruder (2004), and many more. She has been closely associated with several musicians and collaborated with them for several musicals. She appeared on the Made in China album, released in 1989, and was quite popular in the modern music industry. She also appeared in Nuits De Chine (1989); Hey Mister Zippo (1989); J'Ai Pleuré Le Yang Tse (1990) and Lulu & Bambou (2001).
