Joan VanArk is a renowned American actress born on June 16, 1943, in New York. She is best known in the industry for her performance in the soap opera Knots Landing as Valene Ewing. She was cast opposite John Rubinstein in Love Letters. For her performance in The School for Wives (1962), she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress and received a Theatre World Award.
