Carsten Fischer was born in Duisburg in 1961. He was a renowned hockey player across the globe and has represented West Germany internationally. Fischer established himself as a top-notch hockey player worldwide when Carsten first became the European Youth Champion in 1981 and became the World Youth Champion in 1982. He represented West Germany in the Olympic Games four times consecutively.
