Greta Scacchi is a renowned Australian-Italian actress. She is famous for her spectacular performances in films such as ‘Heat and Dust’, ‘The Player’, ‘Presumed Innocent’, and ‘White Mischief’. Born in Milan, Italy, Greta Scacchi has done her professional training from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Her first television appearance was in 1982 with the film Das Zweite Gesicht. Her leading role in ‘Heat and Dust’ bagged Greta a BAFTA for Best Newcomer to Films nomination. In 1990, Greta debuted in Hollywood with the film ‘Presumed Innocent’. In 1996, she was featured in ‘Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny’, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Special, and a Golden Globe nomination. In 2005, Greta started to work in theatre again and was a part of many plays such as The Deep Blue Sea, Bette and Joan, and Nothing Personal. She also joined Headlong, a theatre company, for the UK tour of The Glass Menagerie.
