Dorrel Wright is a former professional basketball player from America. Straight from his high school, Dorrel got into the NBA draft by the Miami Heat in 2004. Winning over the Chicago Bulls, Dorrel made his professional debut in 2005. Then in 2006, the Florida Flame of the NBA Development League is where Wright got assigned. Wright has played for several other teams including the Portland Trail Blazers, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Golden State Warriors. He was selected to participate in the NBA Three-Point Contest in 2011. Dorrel signed with Igokea in 2017 for the 2017-18 season. However, he left the team after four games. He then went on to sign with German club Brose Bamberg for the season. Wright also signed a year-long deal with Lokomotiv Kuban in 2018. After a basketball career of 16 years, Dorrel retired in November 2020.
