Former American Footballer, Chris Chambers has played for a total of ten seasons for the National Football League. He started his career playing college football while studying at the University of Wisconsin. During this time, he was also a backup guard for the Badgers. He managed a total of 28 catches and seven touchdowns which made him a prospect for professional teams who were recruiting. He was drafted 52nd overall by the Miami Dolphins, starting off one of the most glorious rookie seasons in the history of the team. Out of 16 games, he started seven of them. In the following year, he started all the games of the season. In the year 2007, the wide receiver was acquired by the San Diego Chargers. This was a turning point in his career, making him one of the highest-paid players. In 2009, he was released by the team because of a down season after which he played for the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2018, Chambers signed a contract for just one day with the Dolphins in order to retire.
