Born in 1983, Álvaro Quirós García popularly known as Alvaro Quiros is a professional golfer from Spain. Quiros became a professional golfer in 2004 and went on to play on the 2006 Challenge Tour. Alvaro won a tournament there and further secured a spot on the European Tour of 2007. In that tournament, Alvaro was one of the top 35 final qualifying schools. Quiros entered the European Tour as the Tour's card-holder and won the Alfred Dunhill Championship, which he played in South Africa. The professional's second European Tour win was in 2008, and he went on to win a third at the Commercialbank Qatar Masters in 2009. This win moved Quiros to hold a spot among the top-50 Official World Golf Rankers. He then won the Open de España just by one shot in 2010 and finished the season in 14th position. Moving upward on the ladder of success, Alvaro won his fifth European Tour title in 2011. He then won the Dubai World Championship, and he has been winning several other tournaments since then.
