Karl Lagerfeld is a German creative director, photographer, artist, fashion designer, and caricaturist from Paris. He’s the creative head of Chanel and even Fendi. Lagerfeld used to design Italian fur and leather goods. His signature white hair was always noticeable. Karl’s career started when he entered a coat design competition which was sponsored by the International Wool Secretariat. He is even recognized as the artistic director for Jean Patou. Karl did freelance designing for various other popular brands like Valentino, Charles Jourdan, Chloe, and Kriza. Later in 1967, Fendi officially hired him to manage their entire Fur line. Lagerfeld was innovative and unique in his designs and his work allowed Fendi to reach higher milestones. From 1982 to 2000, he got international fame as he got attached to Chanel. Karl then launched his own brand named Karl Lagerfeld. He has also collaborated with Diesel for a special denim collection. Orrefors by Karl Lagerfeld is Karl’s most famous collection.
