Oropeza began his professional training in Philadelphia – Pennsylvania, studying at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute. Upon completion of his academic process, he moved to Maryland to begin his professional career as a stylist and colorist. His first jobs were done as Jon Reyman’s assistant in New York City for Fashion Week, then he moved to Los Angeles – California to be Reyman’s official stylist at Spoke & Weal. After 5 years as an assistant, Oropeza decided to start his career independently. His style caught the attention of many celebrities, and thanks to that, he was able to design various celebrities, such as Diane Guerrero, Sophia Bush, Marianna Hewitt, and La La Anthony.
