American actress Marlee Matlin was born on August 24, 1965, in the USA. After completing her studies in criminal justice, she pursued her passion for acting. Her performance as Sarah Norman in children of a lesser God in 1986 has been widely appreciated. For her performance in that film, she won the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Best Actress Award. She remains the youngest actress to have won the Oscar award for Best actress. After that, she appeared in her next movie, Walker in 1987. She also appeared in a renowned television series called Reasonable Doubts in 1991 as an assistant D.A.Later on, Marlee started producing films. One of the most successful films she produced is Where the Truth Lies (1999). She portrayed the character of a deaf widow in the movie Bridge to Silence.
